Ok…George isn’t a kid anymore. But man can that guy tear it up! His playing has so much muscle in it that I’m surprised hair didn’t start growing on all those bald old heads. Man, getting old bites. LOL.

I completely disagree with you. I have met and jammed with him twice in the past 2 years and he could play all the same shit from his lynch mob/dokken days. He just writes albums different now. Of course I asked for him to show me all the riffs I could never figure out from records, he played them all note perfect. His music just isn’t so shredder-oriented all the time like he was in the 80’s

Get the Dokken Definitive Rock Collection. It’s got most of their hits in Best Of form. Wish they would’ve put Cry of the Gypsy on it though.

He sounds great. I wouldn’t be able to groove at all with the rhythmn section jumping all over the place like it is in this clip.
And, yeah, I’m sure he could play the same solos off the recording… Boring! I love to hear him improvise like this. Just pulling all this crazy shit out of nowhere.

i hate to say im a big lynch fan dokken is one of my my all time favs and i agree hes not as good as he used to be and thats hard for me to say but its the truth hes still damn good but hes not the old lynch we all grew up with
