When punk was “alive” in 77-89 it was the popular thing to do, and now that its not the popular trendy thing anymore (emo and scene are today) its dead. “Punk Is Dead” means “being punk doesn’t make you look cool,” if your a real punk you don’t care about looking cool, punks about doing what you want.

Joe Strummer was a fraud. I’m by no means an anarchist, and I’m not a fan of Crass, but Joe Strummer was the son of a diplomat and nixson7668 is right in everything he has said in regards to Joe.
