a les paul isnt a good guitar to “be doing that 80s shredding/tapping stuff” r u kidding me….randy rhoads,zakk wylde,john sykes,LES PAUL himself……cmon be 4 real now
Yeah, there is something wrong about seeing this without Vito. Mike’s lost a step too. But the guitarist is pretty damned good. Lucky bastard! I’d like to be up there! I out weigh that skinny guitarist by about 150 lbs, so I don’t think I’ll be getting a call.
i play guitar bro!!!!!! never had any prob getting vito bratttas sound out of a les paul!!!!!!!!!! try a wah pedal and tone it down to the clean tone!!!!!!
True – it would’ve been pretty anti-climactic to watch him trip his way through the highlight of the show. That’s one that you gotta play right, even if it means standing in one place and staring at your fingers.
I agree with you about the you-tubers, too. I posted the Wait solo, myself, and it’s pretty freakin dead-on, down to the “accidental” 14th fret harmonic. I would have loved this dude’s gig… alas, I live in Missouri, and no longer have long hair… ha
Ahhh.. I wouldn’t diss the guitarist, really. He’s no Vito Bratta, but WHO THE HECK IS? There are only a handful of musical genius prodigies out there, and Vito happens to be one.

That solo was not good….and a Les Paul isn’t a good guitar to be doing that 80’s shredding/tapping stuff anyway.

Yea, I noticed too that the melodies have a subtle change to them. I guess he is trying to modernise it a bit.. Not that it needed it IMO.

I totally agree.. But I’m not talking about prodigy here. There are so many youtubers that can play this solo to an absolute tee.
