One of Lou Reed’s most brilliant songs. Reed wrote “Sunday Morning” for Nico but ended up singing it himself…I’m really glad he didn’t do the same thing with this one ’cause Nico sang it like nobody else ever could.

I wouldn’t suggest getting involved in the personal business of strangers on the Internet. But all that aside, I’m looking at satisfaction from the point of view of an old person; a reflection of what they’ve done in life and what they have done that they are proud of. I’m still quite young, so I haven’t done those things yet. What I meant was if I wrote a song like this by the time I ended my life I would’ve been satisfied with how I lived it.
