I totally agree. I always found it hard to find a friend who had similar musical tastes as myself. Then I figured, screw it. If my friends want to listen to the fluff, let ‘em. This way they’re not crowdin into my room borrowing my Alex Harvey records. Follow your passion ; it will pay dividends.

hey when I was your age somthing similar happened to me when I took hendrix ,dylan and king crimson in. They were all osmonds and rubbetts at the time. I still love mine I bet none listen to the rubbetts any more! There always is two sorts of music ,the interesting groundbreaking stuff and the fluff and nonsence here today gone tommorow stuff. if its any consolation the cleverer onesoften ( not always) prefered the former. If your a guy you will get the best girls!!!

Your classmates simply don’t know anything about REAL music. Besides the Alex Harvey Band are just having a laugh here. Jedward ? What a fuckin’ joke they are. Talentless crap.

Try not to be a part of the crowd, be yourself, thats your only real purpose. It doesn’t mean you have to be a ‘white raven”, be yourself. So if you like it – then you’re free to listen to it. Whats adventurous to love all the garbage the other people do? Let them do, if you like this too then OK. But if you don’t, so what?… You must to have FREE WILL. T Be yourself…no matter what they say…Who was this? Sting? Do your friends blame him too? Be good:)

I’m 13 and was teased by my classmates at school today, why? Because the music teacher let us play any sons we want on the computer, we got 2 each and I chose this, I was teased like never before, When this came on and they thought that this was utter rubbish! One of my friends came up to me and said: Jedward rule Alex sucks! 50 Cent is miles better than this guy! See how bad this generation are! I told him that almost all of 2day’s musicians use computers to enhance their voice!

to 77doriella, you are so right. people my age are so sick of everything coming out nowadays. the best this generation has to offer is the white stripes and muse and the mars volta. and that is not nearly comparible to this amazing band.hopefully this younger generation will get what music is suppossed to be. it’s entertaining , enlightning, moving, soulful; and tells a story. when o when will we get back to that.

i am only 27 years old and have never in my life heard of this amazing band until about a monthago. for shame on mypart because they are quite possibly the most amazing thing i have ever seen. it’s like taking queen and iggy pop and david allan coe and throwing it all in a blender with the vampire de la morte theatre troup and and mixing gently with a twist of mime. just wow.
