You know nothing SAHB are one of my favorite bands …. but zal’s skills and imagination are nothing compared to the legend of page’s zeppelin…. Do you know that page wrote not only the guitar licks for zep but most lyrics, bass lines, and drum parts? Not to mention PRODUCE every one of their amazing albums?…(plz plz plz go download “led zeppelin” their self titled first album from somewhere mate. You wont be disappointed if you like SAHB you wont regret it!)
Great Memories These… And so much Talent…. Gotta say Though that Rod D’Ath was a fart better drummer than Ted and when Ted Moved to Play with Rory G he never quite filled the Gap!
Drumming much better Suited to SAHB tho!
No, Vambo wasn’t imaginary he was someone real from Glasgow, one of the local gang members. Alex saw a tag sprayed on a wall and that inspired the song. Only back in those days we didn’t call them tags.
i think that Zal Cleminson was (and still is) way better and melodic guitar player than Jimmy Page and Chris Glen was better bassist than John Paul Jones (Zep fans, don’t attack against me because i am Zep fan too)
EXCELLENT !!! – gotta accept the poor vid quality as part of its rarity. I saw this tour at The Agora in Cleveland, thankfully I scored a copy of the WMMS rebroadcast on CD from a cat in Scotland.
Vambo is a mythical charachter from a fictional book…kinda like the dude in that Bible thang…know what I mean…

No doubt with his young death the legend has grown, but thats a sad price to pay for losing the great man. One of my few heroes.

Saw them in the 70s. one of the greatest 70s English bands. I think Trevor Bolder from the Spiders From Mars is playing bass…
