It’s much closer to the park. So meet at the park at 3pm, mingle and then head to the bar about 5pm. Or just meet us at the bar about 5pm.

Shit. Always hoped I could hear him sing, live, again. First caught Willie in 1979 with Mink Deville. A very formative influence on my art.
His later career was brilliant, too, as he resurrected the Blues and some old Spanish tunes, to which he gave the distinguished grace of making his very own.
RIP, Willie. I loved ya, man.

Saw him at Millikan High School in Long Beach California 1977 – awesome with the great James Brown dance moves – RIP Willy.
