you should probably make sure you know what you are talking about before you open your mouth. the clips are from the movie johnny got his gun, which is an anti war novel written in the 1930s. it is about a a WWI soldier who got hit by artillery. he looses all his limbs, and his face. he is alive but trapped within his body and wishes he could die.

The guy was wounded in WWI, and loses all his limbs and has his mouth, ears and eyes amputated. He’s alive, but cannot communicate except through nodding Morse code, and they try to keep him alive, but he wants to die.
