Joey Belladonna (Anthrax) featuring Chuck Billy (Testament, Dublin Death Patrol), Steve Zetro (Exodus, Dublin Death Patrol), and Stuttering Danny (Reality Check TV) Bourbon Street, Concord, CA June 23, 2003 www.Anthrax.com http Joey Belladonna was with Anthrax. This footage was shot before rejoining the band with an Anthrax cover band from Chicago. I interviewed Joey since filming this clip at NAMM. He was in great spirit and says the reunion tour has been fantastic! I know a lot of Anthrax …

Anthrax without Joey, is just not the same. belladonna is an amazing singer that gave anthrax there unique sound that made them great, with bush it sounds like any other low grade metal band.

    Joey’s awesome!
I’d love to see him in person, true headbanger, and a legend.

It cost them big time. Most bands at that time went and hibernated. Anthrax went on to put out crap with a vocalist from another band that sounded like that other band. LOL

I agree with you dude, them getting rid of joey cost them my allegence as a fan, cant get into them with bush. I’m just glad chuck billy got over his cancer and Testament is back and better then ever :)

They fired Joey because his vocals are too melodic or some such shit. They got that fear, that a lot of bands got at the time, of irrelevance. It cost them, I think.

A new album by ‘thrax would kick ass – Joey’s never sounded better (I saw em a while back) and I never cared for john bush in anthrax (don’t know why, I frikkin luv saint!) it’s great to see thrash return (it never truly left, record labels just stopped supporting it)
