@scott28280 it says part 3 effects & amps
Presumably parts 1 & 2 are about something other than effects and amps

At 0:42 he turned on the TC Electronic Stereo Chorus Flanger, which is either in Chorus or Pitch Shift mode and sends its stereo output to two Fender blackface Twin Reverb amplifiers. At 0:53 he stomped on a true bypass effects loop, and in the loop there is an Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man. At 1:12 he turned on a (probably vintage) MXR Dyna Comp. Hope that helps.

@MegaJuevos Underneath all the vitriol, I think you come close to making a couple of good points.

However, I’ve seen all three in concert and I’d have to say that Vai held the room in a freaky spellbinding way. He doesn’t have the best guitar sound in the world, but then again, the guy is otherworldly.

Satch is a great writer and a solid player. I’ve seen him a few times and have yet to witness a mistake.

All three are great. There’s room for everyone to be as such.

    Cheers.

Joe Bonamassa has his own style too, there are obvious elements of Eric Johnson though but Joe never hides that. It’s all influences, not ripping off. I think in the past Joe Bonamassa has sounded a bit TOO Eric Johnson, but now he’s found his own thing.

What amps does Eric’s “Dirty Rhythm Tone” consist of?

    Please reply.

Joe Bonamassa must have seen this video, because he rips off Eric Johnson in a vulgar fashion. Eric Johnsons use of chording and lead intervals are purely his own style and sound.

Megajuevos shut the f*** up satch and via both did gear bids and are extremely humble yea vias wired but that’s who he is now if you said yngwie I could understand he’s a little self-centered but he’s a good guitarist for what he does
