I saw him live in NYC circa72 4 or 5 times and when he was with the EW group and in my opinion no one does this song better than Him…

Stupid atheist! Who cares what they believe as long as they make great music! If you dont like a TV show, you can just change the channel, moron! Personally, if they are Jesus freaks, I now like them even better! And last I heard, it is still a free country!

You must also think global warming is real…ha ha don’t even get me started. Scientists are getting overly involved, that’s why they are constantly coming up with ridiculous ideas that don’t even make sense.

How are my conclusions wrong? And yes, we do have evidence. You just don’t believe it. Haven’t you ever heard of faith? Faith doesn’t always mean something is fake, it’s a test. How do you explain miracles happening? Hmm? Don’t tell me you think Earth was created by an explosion from NOTHING.

Gee, what a fantastic display of logic. Too bad your conclusions were wrong. Please, all of you religious nuts stop writing me to apprise me of all of your rights – and your assumptions of facts not in evidence. Of course, evidence is a difficult word for believers to deal with…

When you said they were “losing paying customers”, they obviously didn’t lose you, so therefore you must not know straight facts. If they did lose you, you wouldn’t have watched this video. And apparently they haven’t been losing ANY money in the past few years because they’re still touring and producing new albums. So their religion is not an excuse.

Yup, I brought up the fact they were Jesus freaks – and then you you asked my opinion! (What’s wrong with being a Jesus freak?) And I’ve been aswering you as requested. I’ve had enough of this stupid exchange – go preach to the fucking choir….I’m not going to pay to go to the Church of Edgar and Rick….

  16. simpleusername11 Says:

Excuse me? You’re the one who brought up the fact that they were Jesus freaks. If you would have kept those opinions TO YOURSELF, just as you said, this whole conversation (or argument) would never have been started. When you say “you people and your useless beliefs”, I think it’s useless for you to NOT follow a certain religion. But, once again, people just don’t wanna hear it. Whatever…you shouldn’t have brought it up.

  17. beeroosterm Says:

    Mick Jagers “summer of 69″

Pardon me, Mr. Simpleton, but your “point” is worthless – and so is your opinion in this matter. People should keep their religious opinions to themselves – unless of course you’re in church. A person paying to hear music should expect to be entertained, not proselytized to. So please, YOU suck it up and stop acting as if everybody should be expected to make exceptions when it comes to religion. Christ, I’m sick of you people and your useless beliefs.

  18. simpleusername11 Says:

Well then I guess that’s just too bad for you. Some people can’t handle the fact that even though music is a major part of their life, their religion is also. My point, Mr. Bee’s wax, is that these performers also have other aspects of their lives to attend to. And if you don’t believe in anything, just suck it up and move on. It’s not like every single song is based on their beliefs.

Yes, you certainly are entitled to your silly beliefs, wah, wah, wah, blah, blah, blah. My point, Mr. Simple, is that Edgar and Rick might lose paying customers for their live shows (most of any touring musician’s income these days) because we DON”T share those beliefs and came to hear their music, not their philosophy. So yes, we might stop listening because we paid for music, not a tithing to the church. Must I believe in order to love the music? Or worse, to be allowed to listen?…

  20. simpleusername11 Says:

    Bennymania

Well, Edgar, Rick, and I are all entitled to our beliefs and opinions. Just because someone else doesn’t like it doesn’t mean we have to stop saying it. Besides, if you don’t like what these guys, or myself, are saying, then you could always stop listening.

  21. beeroosterm Says:

    Mick Jagers “summer of 69″

Can’t tell if you’re being facetious or not, but there certainly isn’t enough room to explain here. Suffice it to say that talking about your love of Jesus (as Edgar does) in front of a large, paying crowd of fans (many of whom do not share your religious views) as well as incorporating Jesus into the lyrics of your classic songs (Derringer does this in RR Hootchie Coo) does not serve the music and may alienate some people. Separate music and your religion Edgar and Rick…
