Oh Yeah baby!!
I was wondering if EJ even remembered how to throw down like back in ‘86-87.
What a thrill to see him in full flight — the ideas are coming at the speed of thought and his fingers throw sparks while the poor guitar tries to keep up!
He seems so inspired by Kyle and Tommy, not like that awful drummer he had not so long ago, eh?
As to his lead tone, I bet if you were in the room, you’d want to crawl inside that Marshall. He loves that ‘bloated Jimi’ tone and so do I! Play on!

His playing seems more raw and improvised on this set, which is a great thing. Great band.

I don’t entirely agree with you, but this does really kick ass. My TC Nova Delay’s feeling were really hurt by the digital comment. I need to go let her oscillate for a few minutes so she can let off some steam.
CHEERS.

Thabnks! That’s exactly what I’m saying. I’ve NEVER heard him on even an AOR station. I don’t understand why my comment has gotten such hostile responses. It’s like I said he suck the royal wad. He sells out, sure. But not at the sort of places that Green Day is going to play. That’s all I mean, so chill out, guitarists. M-kay?
