He sure is! Cozy too.
But this is not their playing you can hear on this recording. Some guitar overdubs like the pinched harmonics in the end of the intro and some overdubs of rythm guitar wich are not present in Mel Galleys playing from the original UK mix of the Slide It In record. You can clearly hear that the solo is not at all in Sykes style. Nor are the drums in Cozy’s, both are much too tame and lightweight. No disrespect to Mel Galley or Aynsley Dunbar, they were great players.
