Shelia C
This is a mondmetal.com exclusive video shot by me live at the show.
Benny’s Had Some Hard Times Lately ,But I wanted to throw this anthem up because This is the guy who wrote this song and even if the execution is shaky the fact is Shelia Caleveri was a real person.and that’s why this song is great
death of a great drummer
A good friend of mine died this month .Scott Columbus .Scott was the long time drummer for Manowar ;Joey Demaios band.Scott replaced Carl kanedy who you can see in the videos here …he currently plays in the Rods.Carl did not want to tour when Manowar became popular, so Scott beat the drums for 10 years with Manowar.I always remember Scott fondly because when he was a unknown musician in Oswego N.Y. and someone stole my Marshall amplifier Scott helped me get it back. That’s the kind of person he was.I don’t know what happened ; he seemed in good health .But I wanted to make a footnote of the passing too soon of Scott Columbus Scotts Bio
The Rods Break down The Walls
As promised here is one of the videos from a Nov 2010 show at Club Fusion
no…. smart ass!…. Casey Anthony was at the Orlando Club Fusion LOL.anyway Cortland N.Y. based Dave Fienstien and the band rocked this intimate club..nothing better than that.If you don’t know about it; there is a axis of metal that is like six degrees of separation emanating from Cortland N.Y. which is Ronnie James Dios home Town. This is a exclusive video to Mondometal.com but due to bandwith we have put copy on our youtube channel

Joe Lynn Turner Street of Dreams Live
got some new stuff coming from the Rods Dave Feinstein in the can in small club meanwhile
Why Ritchie hired him…excellent live cut
“spellbound..like we never parted” really feel the song is of a higher quality than a lot of the stuff in the later Ian Gillian era.Ritchie was really throwing spaghetti against the wall trying to replace Gillian back then and Joe Lynn was one of the better replacements..what do you think?
this cut is from Sweden in 2009 Over the Rainbow ;that’s Ritchie Blackmore’s son on Guitar
